Today’s episode continues with the dual wedding. Josh tells his friends and family he will be leaving town. He tells Natalia to take care of his friend Olivia. Alan is the hero of the day making peace with everyone and telling Phillip to live his life to the fullest. Phillip walks up from behind Alan sitting on the bench telling his father he knows what he means about living in the moment and to appreciate everything for what it is. Phillip then realizes his father has passed.

“You, Me, Sex, Now” says Olivia to Josh. Thank God Josh knew this is not what Olivia wanted. Olivia is determined not to get hurt again by Natalia. She is trying to convince Frank to step up and marry Natalia. (Didn’t we do this sl three months ago?) Olivia runs into Rafe who tells her she will be alone and to stay away from them. “She wants to be with me. I said no!” Liv then returns to the park where she breaks down again. Olivia’s having a great day, don’t ya think. Frank and Natalia tell the Coopers the baby news.

Well, well, well. Look who’s home. No call, no message, no letter and no big welcome home from Olivia. Has Olivia really “moved on”?

Olivia awakes in the arms of Josh to a phone call from Reva. Olivia thanks Josh for being a friend without benefits. Later she runs into Rafe, the son she wishes she had…..NOT! Olivia returns to her office to spend some quality time with her ol’ friend Haagen Dazs. Doris steals the vanilla and saves the day with a pep talk about the love they will always have from their children even though they “are not the most lovable women on the planet”. Olivia plants a big ol’ wet one on the cheek of Doris.

Olivia seems to be moving past the stage of sadness into the stage of anger. She tells Blake she knows her loyalty is with Natalia because she helped Natalia leave which is fine however they are not friends. Does Olivia really think she is incapable of being loved?

Today Olivia has yet another pleasant encounter with Rafe. He blames Olivia for her disappearance. She finally doesn’t hold back the words and tells him maybe it’s because of him and his church Natalia has left. Olivia will see her daughter Ava tomorrow for Jeffery’s funeral.

Olivia and Doris head out to search for Natalia. Doris has a list of all retreats and Olivia has the motivation. She explains to Doris she has to make Natalia understand they can get through whatever it is that’s keeping them apart. Olivia loses control at their final retreat stop and yells out to the heavens for Natalia as if she’s in some Tennessee Williams play. Beaten and broken and not wanting to be pathetic, Olivia gives up her search and heads home.

Oh dear! Olivia searches all over town for her runaway Natalia. No call or warning, Olivia is in disbelief that Natalia would do that after getting confirmation straight from Father Ray’s lips. Olivia is distraught and can’t drive or think clearly. Getting help from Phillip, she arrives back at the farm house where she attempts to leave a note but loses control and throws everything she has in her hands at Natalia’s house. Olivia breaks down again and Crystal gives another great performance.

Today’s episode was devastating, heartbreaking and tear jerking!. That’s it. That’s all she wrote!
I will add the best thing about today’s episode was the amazing performance by Crystal Chappell a truly gifted actress.

The ladies are getting ready to come out together at the BBQ. Olivia and Natalia take time to get supplies for a special treat Emma wants them to make for the bbq. While Olivia is distracted with making a call to Phillip, Natalia purchases a home pregnancy test. Olivia is over the moon oblivious to the house that’s about to fall on her head.

Natalia gets ready for her first day of work with Blake when Olivia walks into the house. They again declare they choose each other and discuss their plans for the day. Olivia plans to tell Emma about their relationship but puts it off because Emma, feeling different, didn’t have a good day at camp. Blake figures out that Natalia and Olivia are together and is very supportive. The girls plan their independence of coming out at the Bauer bbq on the 4th of July. Natalia has to excuse herself from Olivia at Company to go to the bathroom because she is not feeling well.

The girls were getting hammered with all the wrong reasons they are together. In the end, they mutually decide that Natalia will resign her position at the Beacon. They don’t want anyone to think they are together due to all the circumstances in their life that has brought them to this point. They are going to “take a step back” but they each declare to one another “I choose you”.

Rafe questions Natalia & Olivia about what’s going on. He does not take this well at all. Natalia tries to explain her feelings were not forced, Olivia didn’t “take advantage” of her, that her feelings just happened and she is “in love with Olivia”. Rafe damns them both to hell and takes off to Franks to stay. Olivia returns to see how Natalia is doing. Natalia is very upset she didn’t get to say everything she needed to say to Rafe. Olivia ask “So what does this mean for us?” and Natalia says “I don’t know”. As they both fold the picnic table cloth, Olivia looks devastated by that answer.

Olivia and Natalia are outside picking up where they left off yesterday filled with love. They talk about sex and how they are both scared but it will be ok when it happens. Rafe looks on then approaches but doesn’t tell what he saw. The girls plan for a dinner together with the kids and a movie. Later they share an intimate toast with champagne as Rafe shouts “Ma! What the hell are you doing?”. As Ricky Ricardo would say Natalia’s got a lot of splainin to do.

Today scene opens with Olivia and Blake still at the adult store. They return to Olivia’s room and share wine and talk about the sex they are not having. Blake gives Olivia something to think about when she tells her she would give up sex in a minute just to have one more hour with Ross. Natalia throws a few back at the bar with Frank & Rafe (drinking soda) then ends up at church to thank God for the day she had with her son. She ends up at home with Rafe when he takes off for a run. Olivia alone in her room now with a glass a wine and an adult toy says “This is stupid” and leaves to see Natalia. They discuss how much they miss each other and share an intimate moment of soft touches and hand holding as the girls are unaware as Rafe looks on.

The day starts with Olivia calling Natalia to tell her she had a great time baking cookies with her and Emma. Olivia runs into Company for coffee where Blake is reading a hot romance novel reminding Olivia how desperately she needs a relief. Natalia and Rafe visits Rafe’s parole officer where he tells them that Rafe has to be employed. The ray of sunshine Rafe still has an attitude about everything which concerns Natalia.
Olivia has some car trouble and ends up over heating herself then engaging in a passionate wet kiss with Josh. She pulls back and apologizes to him. She’s off to do some yoga for energy release but ends up shopping at a lingerie or some sort of sex toy store where she runs into Blake again. Blake tells her “a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.”

The day starts with Olivia runs into Josh at Company. They discuss the needs of men and women. Olivia leaves the conversation with a sexually frustrated look. She and Emma surprise Natalia at church who is alone baking 50 dozen cookies and desperately needs help. Rafe shows up briefly to help bake cookies with the girls but has to leave because he can’t take too much family life in one day. Olivia says to Natalia “it’s a start”. Very cute scenes.

Olivia tells Natalia that Rafe cannot become a police officer ever due to his record. Olivia is becoming impatient and ask how long do they have to wait. Nat tells her it’s not about “us” but about her son. Natalia runs into Fr. Ray who tells her maybe her feelings aren’t as strong as she thinks if she has not told anyone or her son about Olivia. Ending scene with the Olivia at the house not giving an ultimatum but telling Nat she is leaving, giving Natalia space and will come back but has to be invited. She is trying to be as patient as she can. Natalia was great to Emma and Olivia wants to do the same. Sweet goodbyes.

Rafe’s home and not adjusting well to family life. He makes Emma upset and Olivia and Natalia try to comfort her. Frank stops by to throw the ball around with him. Olivia and Natalia try to decide when they will tell their kids about them. Not just yet.

On today’s Guiding Light the girls start out at the Beacon bedroom office with the employee Greg staring at their closeness. Olivia heads to Company to order Rafe’s favorite foods for the coming home celebration. At the hearing, the judge needs more for Rafe’s release, a “male mentor”. Enters the court room is Frank to be that mentor just after telling Olivia he was not going to attend the hearing because he’s no saint. The judge is satisfied and Rafe is free. Rafe does not want a celebration at company yet invites Frank to be with him and his mom. Frank declines and Olivia is left alone not yet apart of Rafe’s “family”. Poor poor Olivia.
