Rafe’s home and not adjusting well to family life. He makes Emma upset and Olivia and Natalia try to comfort her. Frank stops by to throw the ball around with him. Olivia and Natalia try to decide when they will tell their kids about them. Not just yet.
On today’s Guiding Light the girls start out at the Beacon bedroom office with the employee Greg staring at their closeness. Olivia heads to Company to order Rafe’s favorite foods for the coming home celebration. At the hearing, the judge needs more for Rafe’s release, a “male mentor”. Enters the court room is Frank to be that mentor just after telling Olivia he was not going to attend the hearing because he’s no saint. The judge is satisfied and Rafe is free. Rafe does not want a celebration at company yet invites Frank to be with him and his mom. Frank declines and Olivia is left alone not yet apart of Rafe’s “family”. Poor poor Olivia.
No storyline for the Otalia girls today. We should see them on Wednesday. Today Reva was questioned by Mallet and Shane spilled the biological beans to Marina.
Olivia stops by to see Jeffrey to ask to speak at Rafe’s hearing. Reva confronts Olivia “the rat” about what she saw. They all gather at the park to speak and toast to the “bastard” Edmund. After hearing unusual touching words of love from a recording by Edmund, they all go their separate ways. Olivia makes a sweet and enduring call to Natalia stating whatever this is it’s what she wants more than anything.
Today the girls were at work where a double booking mistake made by Natalia was covered up by Olivia. Nat insists Olivia has to remain the stern and yelling boss to her as with any other employee. Olivia says she can separate her professional life from her love life. They leave for a picnic lunch 12 minutes apart to not look “together” at work. They are then interrupted by Frank with news of Rafe coming home early. This will make things different for Natalia and Olivia according to Nat. Olivia says let’s just celebrate the good news. Cute moments in every scene.
Today Olivia came home to a very happy Natalia where they shared a long embrace. Olivia agrees with Emma to move back home with Natalia however Nat has her reservations. Olivia leaves to figure out what she saw earlier regarding Edmund’s murder. Natalia along at the house has a visit from Father Ray where she confides in him about her true feelings for Otalia. Father Ray then pours on the Catholic guilt while Nat holds steady this is “real” and “this is not a confession”.
Olivia returns home after seeing Jeffrey and she and Nat continue their non-moving in conversation. Nat wants it to be done right just as any relationship with a man. She takes these things “very seriously.” Olivia crushed with her eyes says “Ok”.
Now back in the real world, Natalia is confronted by Buzz and Doris in the same day. Ema continues to ask when she and her mom can come home. A visit from Doris makes Natalia a little uncomfortable because Doris says reality is all about coming out. Imagine Doris with “the big ol’ hat” telling Natalia about coming out.
As the ladies and Emma prepare to depart from the spa, they have quite a few tender moments. They share a few words of why they love each other. Olivia gets a call from Ava and has to travel to see her in San Francisco for a few days. Natalia will take care of Ema and again the ladies share tender words of how they will miss each other.

Today on Guiding Light with Otalia, the ladies have a very funny fight. They then realize they are fighting because it’s their “normal”. They’re so confused. They decide to go on a hike to start over. Back at the spa deciding on lunch, they have a surprise visitor, Emma -”I missed both of you”.

The girls getaway just turned into family vaca.
Today Olivia and Natalia arrive at the spa where they only have one room available. The girls surprisingly run into Blake. Couples massage turns into girls chatting with Blake about Natalia’s wedding day and finding true love. The girls exchange adorable looks and smiles with each other only later to argue about the trip being a mistake.
Hopefully this is the start of a great week in Otalia land. Today Frank confronts Olivia and Natalia about their relationship. He emphatically blames Olivia for putting things in Nats mind. However, Nat confirms that what she and Olivia have, “It’s real”.
The ladies will be going away together this week to, as said by Nat, “figure out what we are to each other”. …whatever that means. The hotel only has one room left and they haven’t even had their first official kiss yet. They should start there, don’t you think?
